How to see into the minds of your ideal customers

Change is one of the few constants in the digital market.

Your customers will turn to your customers where they are from, what they read, where they go online and how they get to you.

Sometimes it has changed little.

Often it will change much. How do you stay ahead of the curve?

Preparation and research
Fall will be here any second.

Children are back in school and the operator would buckle down. People who work for small businesses to take on a little vacation.

People in the home and in their cars more. Some will return to work - and back to spending- after a summer or part-time work is temporary.

The bottom line is autumn changes will impact to your business in any way.

Are you ready?

If you have prepared your website and do your research in the last two weeks, my guess would be yes. But if you have not, it's not too late.

A few research / preparation exercise for the fall.
There are three important questions you need to ask yourself about your company.

A meeting of the necessary personnel (Although it will contain your own and others you), to discuss these things and write them down. In the coming days we will have more specific TODOs in each of these areas.

I ready? / We prepare?
In other words, a digital marketing to work for me? Not just a home base. But outposts or not

In the case of my clients, and I will already be there when they arrived, so they can attract them or bring them back to me?

The basic components required for digital marketing.

Home base of operations - the site is blocked.
Lead capture system - at least for a newsletter registration form call to action in the body.

Mind you, these are just the basics. And remember that you form a strategy to achieve your goals, the first thing you need to do is on purpose.

If someone wrote down "from 7500 to 10,000, followed by Twitter" They need to be able to defend why.

If you can show that there is even a correlation between the increase in Twitter followers, and an increase in profitability, it might be something interesting to see. But if you can not demonstrate clearly how it will impact the bottom line, it's worth pausing.

Not to say it is not worthwhile goal. Lets be real - as long as you do not take more effort than it's worth, with 2,000 more followers than your competitors might be following indications vanity worthless.

But it could also be encouraged to support.

What you need to decide is where prioritizing goals. For me it would be the last. "Profitable enough to be comfortable hiring an administrative assistant."

Are they willing?
My clients do not care?

I was in their price range or perhaps so far below that they did not see me?

They want to do business with me or with some aspects of my process that they think that I do not know about?

I create content that makes them want to connect to and use?

I am targeting the right market or not. If in doubt, ask your current customers and market research.

Can my system?
Not how you've set up my marketing really bring you leads and sales in the most efficient way?

Do the goals you set up earlier this make sense?

This is not just about your digital marketing system.

It's about your body - you and / or your team to achieve these goals and continue to live a full night's sleep and do all the other things that contribute to producing the best?

It's about fulfilling your system if you succeed as a manufacturer / supplier can fill the orders that you be doing?

If you're going to do a lot of joint ventures as a partner you set correctly all the credit if you are a solopreneur, you have the software or the budget to make these glorious video?

If I say "we have 117,000 visitors yesterday!" Is good news or bad for your business.

What is the average number of sales per week in this example?
What is the overall average sales per week for the last full calendar year?
When the peak is predicted to sell?
Many visitors come to the site in an average month?
Many visitors return?
Many visitors "bounce" or leave the site after visiting a single page or low participation.
How many members do you currently have?
What are the top five sources of subscribers / viewers / sales.
The technique is what has worked best in producing this type of operation on any website.

Have any relationship possible between visits did not produce the sales and traffic back to business later or not.
